We're happy to share a lovely and simple recipe for Easter (or any other chocolate occasion!): dark chocolate nests. It's no-bake, with very few ingredients and we'll tell you right away: it's as delicious as it is cute! Many thanks to Claire, from the blog caillebot.com for the idea and the preparation.
Ingredients
• 75g of cornflakes cereal (or puffed rice)
• 3 large tablespoons of Allo Simonne Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Spread (1 jar)
• A little Allo Simonne Milk Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
• A few small Easter eggs (candy or chocolate)
• Molds for mini-muffins or mini-pies
Steps
• Place the cereal in a large container.
• Pour the dark chocolate hazelnut spread on top. Mix with a spatula so that the cereal is completely soaked in the spread.
• Using a small spoon, spoon some of the cereal/spread mixtures into the bottom of each mini muffin tin. Crush roughly with a spoon to pack well.
• Cover each edge with the rest of the mixture, making sure to leave a hollow in the center, creating the "nests".
• Pour a little milk chocolate hazelnut spread in the center of each nest.
• Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the chocolate to harden.
• Serve them as soon as you take them out of the refrigerator by placing a few Easter eggs in the center (candy or chocolate).
