Ingredients
• ½ cup soft butter, room temperature • ¼ cup brown sugar • ¼ cup cane sugar • 2 tablespoons milk • 3 tablespoons matcha, pistachio and cardamom spread • 1 cup all-purpose flour • 3 tablespoons cornstarch • ½ teaspoon salt • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder • 2 tablespoons matcha powder • 2/3 cup dark chocolate pieces
Steps
Combine flour, cornstarch, salt, baking powder and matcha powder. In a large bowl, mix the soft butter, sugars and matcha, pistachio and cardamom spread with a fork until smooth. Add milk and mix again. Gradually add dry ingredients with a fork, mixing with wet hands to form a smooth ball. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cut ball into 8 and shape into 8 cookie balls. Place on a parchment-covered baking sheet. Lightly press 5-6 pieces of dark chocolate onto the top of each cookie. Bake for 14 minutes, cooling completely before serving.Product we use in this recipe
